The revision of the customs code is one of the actions within the framework of the <strong>modernization plan of the European Customs Union<\/strong>. It is a comprehensive framework for customs procedures and rules adapted to modern trade realities and modern communication tools.<\/p>\n<p>To fulfill all customs formalities described in the UCC, the European Union and its member states mus<strong>upgrade existing electronic systems and introduce new ones.<\/strong> For Belgium, this means, among other things:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PLDA is being replaced by IDMS (Import) and AES (Export) for Belgium.<\/li>\n<li>A new version for NCTS is forthcoming<\/li>\n<li>The goods accounting (GCA, GCB, etc.) currently part of PLDA, will be replaced by PN-TS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9ec07c3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9ec07c3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The <strong>EU Customs Data Model<\/strong> (EUCDM) forms the basis for the Trans-European and national declaration systems in the European Union. The new systems IDMS, AES, NCTS F5, PN-TS, etc. will utilize the dataset defined in <a href=\"https:\/\/eucdm.softdev.eu.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Annex B<\/a> of the UCC.
